Thorens TD-126 MK III Centennial with SME 3009-3

Rare special model (apparently only 100 pieces were built), which was presented in 1983 for the 100th anniversary of Thorens. With the proven technology of the TD-126 MK III, i.e. subchassis, belt drive, electric tonearm lift, selectable limit switch and 3 speeds, this model was brought optically into a different league. A frame with noble dark walnut veneer, black anodisation of the visible metal parts, i.e. plate, tonearm and control knobs and gold-coloured anodisation of the base plate make this player also and especially by today's standards appear very valuable and beautiful. Rare version (only?) ex works with SME 3009/III tonearm with limit switch and Linn K5 (MM) pickup system. With external, larger power supply and original packaging.
