Easily one of the most famous turntables from the sadly defunct Japanese high-end company Micro Seiki. Large solid wood frame with ebony real wood veneer. With Micro Seiki MA505 tonearm, original Micro Seiki headshell and thick felt platter rest. The turntable has a belt drive with a brushless and servo-controlled motor over the outer platter rim with an infinitely variable speed fine adjustment in the range of +/- 6 %. In addition to the well-known micro platter bearing with a 16 mm thick axle (manufactured with an accuracy of 0.4 micrometres) and the oil bath damping system, the heavy tonearm base ensures a stable sound. This is also easily exchangeable by means of 6 screws, so that nothing stands in the way of using other or several different tonearms. Super condition.
